The homeowner wanted an outdoor sitting area and a rain shelter for their garden furniture, kids' bikes and toys, a barbeque and many other things. What we did in this project?
We used timber frame, 10mm multiwall polycarbonate and aluminium fitting bars to create a spacious rain shelter and storage at the back of the house.
We covered the side passage to shelter bikes and other items.
Low-level walls, matching the garden fence, were installed to separate the shelter area and the garden – and they can also be used for flower displays.
The exterior wall of the house under the rain shelter was covered with shiplap cladding boards to provide an attractive surface as well as extra home insulation – and they also make it safer for kids running in and out of the shelter.
