The homeowner had a standard side passage but didn't use it much, so wanted it covered so it could be used as a storage space and bike shelter.

• We raised the side boundary wall by 2m with timber batons and cladding boards to fit with the roof height.
• The roof over the side passage is made of timberframe and 16mm clear multiwall panels.
• We installed a new side door and side panels and coated them with grey paint to match the house's front window-frames.
• We installed a second door at the other end to ensure security, and guttering and a downpipe to take the roof's rainwater.
