The client wanted to create an outdoor seating area to entertain family and friends – even on rainy days – and also sought a corner bench with storage.

• In our design, we maximised use of the back garden by including a bespoke shed, and raised a canopy over the seating area to give all-weather shelter.
• We covered the old block walls with cladding boards, to create a warm, pleasant setting.
• The canopy was made out of timber frame, with 16mm polycarbonate.
• We used all the space available for the corner bench so as to give lots of sitting and storage space.

I wanted to get a section of my backyard covered over to make use of the space for storage. It was an awkwardly shaped area and required a tailormade solution. Alin made a number of visits to the site to discuss options and, based on some suggestions he made, I decided to incorporate a covered outdoor space together with a closed-off storage area. As a result of his suggestions, I now have a more useful area than I had hoped for originally.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Alin and his team for the speed of response, quality of work and attention to detail. I am delighted with the finished result.
